The Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF) was formed in 2000 by friends and family of Nick Tallungan who, at age 10, lost his battle with neuroblastoma. The CNCF has grown into a foundation of families, over 300 strong, from across the world.
The CNCF consists of volunteers, business people, medical professionals, researchers, and parents of children with neuroblastoma, all dedicated to ensuring that one day no other child or family will have to enter the world of neuroblastoma. Through their collective experience, they provide educational, emotional, and advocacy support to families, as well as work to solicit funding for research to find a cure for neuroblastoma.
Continued progress on increasing the survival rate of neuroblastoma, reducing the serious side effects of cancer treatment, improving the quality of life during treatment, and understanding the importance of genetics and its influences with environmental exposures, are all part of the continuing efforts of many of the dedicated people that make up the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation. All of the money raised for Allie & Friends and CNCF goes towards funding for research, education, advocacy, and awareness programs for neuroblastoma.
CNCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ID #36-4370725.
